Unlike the well-worn path of many travel entrepreneurs, our founder Lois Miles didn’t grow up with a passport full of stamps. She admired the world from the pages of books, on film screens, and through the stories of others, at a time when travel was but a distant dream for her.

What began as a quiet fascination from afar became a resolve to experience the world’s most wondrous places firsthand, and discover just how extraordinary life could be.

Over the course of a decade, while building an award-winning service business, Lois dedicated her leisure time to mastering the art of travelling beautifully: understanding the nuances of each destination, seeking out insider favourites, and learning that not all five-stars are created equal.

While her work didn’t originate in travel, Lois’s life was irrevocably shaped by it: “To truly understand elevated journeys is to have lived them. It’s about discernment, taste, and an eye for the exceptional. I founded Mondaire to support those whose lives move fast, who expect the best, but lack the time to uncover it.”
